About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor portfolio risks and exposures for global investment portfolios, including equities, US rates, credit, and securitized products.
  • Analyze market dynamics, macroeconomic trends, and issuer fundamentals to identify portfolio vulnerabilities.
  • Apply advanced quantitative techniques such as regression analysis, factor models, and machine learning to measure exposures and assess sensitivities.
  • Conduct scenario analysis, stress testing, and liquidity analysis to quantify the impact of market and macroeconomic shocks.
  • Develop and maintain production-grade analytical data pipelines using Git, automated testing, and modular design.
  • Leverage cloud platforms like Snowflake and Google BigQuery to process large-scale multi-asset datasets.
  • Build risk-reporting stacks by integrating proprietary models with industry platforms including Aladdin, Intex, and Trepp.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings and actionable recommendations to portfolio managers and senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field.
  • 48 months of relevant experience in risk management or a closely related role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, C++, and SQL.
  • Strong experience with portfolio analytics, construction, and quantitative research.
  • Deep knowledge of fixed income markets, including credit and securitized products (CLOs, CMBS, RMBS, ABS).
  • Experience with cloud and large-scale data platforms such as Google BigQuery and Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools including Aladdin, Intex, and Trepp.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and version control using Git.
