Vice President

Responsibilities

• Consult with top advisory teams to improve portfolio construction processes and implement investment ideas.
• Present BlackRock thought leadership on portfolio construction theory, risk analysis, and thematic ideas.
• Introduce and educate clients on BlackRock tools and technology, including components of the Aladdin platform.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sales and distribution partners.
• Act as a business owner by managing territory rotation and maintaining a full calendar of client meetings and events.
• Combine quantitative portfolio analysis with qualitative insights to communicate effectively with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in finance, portfolio theory, or a related analytical role.
• Active FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
• Expertise in investment vehicle selection, including ETFs, Mutual Funds, and SMAs.
• Experience with factor-based risk models, scenario analysis, and portfolio optimization.
• Proven ability to present complex investment rationale to clients in person or virtually.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high net worth portfolio construction, incorporating tax, liquidity, and values-based constraints.
• Knowledge of financial planning theory and goals-based planning.
• Experience differentiating alpha, factor, and index exposures for efficient implementation.
