About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-impact team responsible for the delivery of client deliverables in line with SLAs, with a critical focus on quality.
  • Provide senior-level review of fund accounting deliverables, including quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Manage key client and stakeholder relationships, acting as a point of escalation for senior client members.
  • Model and review complex calculations such as carried interest waterfalls, equalization, management fees, and incentive fees.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new clients and funds, supporting fund structuring and administrative implications.
  • Partner with internal teams to drive operational efficiency and technology-driven automation.
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate team members to drive personal growth and career development.
  • Review limited partnership agreements and other legal or investment documents to ensure compliance with key terms.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of total professional experience, with at least 7+ years specifically in private equity.
  • University degree in accounting or finance.
  • Strong working knowledge of US, UK, or Lux GAAP.
  • Proven experience with complex calculations, including waterfall models, LCI, Equalization, and carry models.
  • Extensive experience in the end-to-end preparation of financial statements and PE year-end reports.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor a high-performing team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional accounting certifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, CAIA, or ACCA.
  • Experience with FIA (Front Invest Analytics).
  • Experience across multiple private equity sectors such as FoF, Co-invest, credit, or secondary.
