About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth for credit underwriting and risk assessment solutions within the South India region.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities by generating leads and building relationships with key decision-makers in Banks, NBFCs, and Fintechs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including Chief Risk Officers, Chief Credit Officers, and various banking business heads.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial prospecting and relationship building to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Collaborate with internal product, marketing, and tech teams to ensure solutions align with market trends and customer requirements.
  • Track sales metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports on pipeline status and revenue forecasts to the executive team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of sales experience in the fintech, banking, or financial services industry.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience specifically selling to Banks, NBFCs, or the Fintech segment in India.
  • Proven track record in B2B software sales, particularly with complex technology solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the credit evaluation process, including financial and ratio analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of the BFSI landscape in India, including GST, external ratings, and legal parameters influencing credit assessments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.
  • Professional certification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or CFA.
