VFX Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Own the creative and technical delivery of visual effects from concept to completion for live-action features and series.
• Act as the senior creative authority and primary point of contact for clients, translating their vision into high-quality deliverables.
• Provide creative direction to CG artists, animators, and compositors through dailies and constructive feedback.
• Partner with VFX Producers to manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across distributed studios.
• Coordinate and maintain creative consistency across multiple sites, including London, Paris, Chennai, and Bangalore.
• Collaborate with the Head of VFX to ensure pipeline adherence and propose technical solutions.
• Mentor team members and foster a collaborative, professional working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a VFX Supervisor or in an equivalent senior role within a vendor/facility environment.
• Expert knowledge of core VFX software, including Nuke, Maya, and Houdini.
• Proficiency with production tracking tools such as ShotGrid / Flow Production Tracking.
• Thorough understanding of colour theory and its application to live-action content.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple teams in parallel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for managing client relationships and stakeholder expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with on-set supervising.
• Proven track record of directing or coordinating distributed, multi-site teams.
• An established network of industry contacts.
