VFX Artist

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and create cutting-edge special effects, including particle effects, dynamic simulations, and shader effects
• Create high-quality, performant visuals within established project budgets
• Collaborate with producers, lead artists, and supervisors to track and manage departmental workflows
• Take direction and feedback effectively from composite leads and VFX supervisors
• Organize dailies, rounds, and meetings, ensuring all necessary information is documented and followed up on
• Oversee the execution of client deliveries for both temporary and final assets
• Maintain a methodical approach to work and remain calm in fast-paced environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Art or a related field
• Proven experience as a VFX Artist or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite (CS5)
• Strong working knowledge of Unreal Engine and Unity
• A portfolio or demo reel demonstrating technical skills and artistic ability
• Strong understanding of motion, animation, scaling, timing, lighting, and sound

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Houdini, Blender, or Autodesk Maya
• Strong drawing skills and creative problem-solving abilities
