Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform pet restraint and triage incoming patients
• Collect and analyze laboratory samples
• Assist with diagnostic imaging and radiograph processing
• Manage nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases
• Administer medications and communicate treatment plans to clients
• Provide surgical preparation, assistance, and anesthesia monitoring

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience preferred
• Proficiency in pet restraint
• Ability to obtain medical histories and process laboratory tests
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and diagnostic imaging
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle unpleasant odors or noises

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital full-body radiology
• Strong communication skills and a team-player mentality
• Desire to pursue continuing education and professional development
