Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
• Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during surgical and dental procedures
• Perform diagnostic tests and laboratory work, including blood draws and urinalysis
• Safely handle and restrain animals for exams and treatments
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status and care instructions
• Maintain and sterilize equipment, exam rooms, treatment areas, and kennels
• Support records, scheduling, check-ins, check-outs, and inventory tasks

Requirements

• Experience as a veterinary technician
• Strong animal handling and restraint skills
• Ability to monitor anesthesia and patient vitals
• Diagnostic and laboratory skills
• Clear communication and teamwork
• Detail-oriented and protocol-driven
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift and restrain animals
