Veterinary Technician - Internal Medicine

About the Company

Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency is expanding following the success of our flagship hospital in Marietta, Georgia. We are opening a brand-new specialty and emergency hospital in Dunwoody, Georgia, in October 2026 and are looking for founding team members to help build one of Georgia's premier veterinary facilities from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Support internal medicine specialists in managing complex medical cases and diagnostic challenges
• Assist with chronic disease management and advanced patient care
• Provide high-quality technical nursing care in a collaborative, referral-level environment
• Build long-term relationships with patients and clients
• Participate in onboarding and training with our established Marietta team prior to the Dunwoody opening

Requirements

• Experience in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Specialty Medicine, or high-volume General Practice
• Proven technical nursing skills and strong attention to detail
• Experience as a Veterinary Technician, LVT, RVT, CVT, or highly skilled Veterinary Assistant
