Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care, including phlebotomy, catheter placement, cystocentesis, and fine-needle aspirates
• Perform anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, and recovery
• Execute animal restraint using low-stress and safe techniques
• Run treatments for scheduled appointments and manage hospital flow
• Interpret medical records and accurately record client history
• Position and capture radiographs and process laboratory samples

Requirements

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
• Strong technical skills in clinical procedures and anesthesia
• Proficiency with computers in a paperless practice environment
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to maintain punctuality and attention to detail
• Ability to work in an environment with animal odors, noises, and potential exposure to waste or contagious diseases

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary setting
• Proficiency in setting up and processing laboratory tests
