Veterinary Technician - Emergency

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, compassionate nursing care to critically ill and hospitalized patients in the ICU and PCU
• Work alongside emergency veterinarians and technicians to deliver life-saving care
• Build meaningful relationships with pet owners through empathy and clear communication
• Monitor patients closely, administer treatments, and recognize subtle changes in condition
• Utilize advanced technical skills including IV catheter placement, phlebotomy, and anesthesia monitoring
• Balance the needs of multiple patients with high attention to detail and organization

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience working as a veterinary technician
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician (LVT, CVT, RVT)
• RECOVER certification
