Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia and vital signs
• Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients, including medications and treatments
• Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and support fluid therapy
• Operate diagnostic equipment such as digital radiography and in-house lab analyzers
• Support dental procedures and maintain accurate medical records
• Communicate clearly with pet owners and collaborate with the care team

Requirements

• Previous veterinary technician experience
• Credentialed technician preferred but not required
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for patient care and continuous learning
• Fear Free or low-stress handling experience a plus
