Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform patient restraint and proper animal handling
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
• Assist with surgical and dental procedures
• Conduct laboratory and radiology procedures, including x-ray positioning
• Manage pharmacy tasks and medication administration
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance
• Provide high-quality client education and communication

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 1 year of veterinary technician experience
• Strong knowledge of animal handling and clinical procedures
• Proficiency with common veterinary drugs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated professionalism, patience, and empathy

Preferred Qualifications

• Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT/LVT/RVT)
• Degree in veterinary technology or a related field
• 5+ years of veterinary technician experience
