Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional veterinary care to patients in a modern facility
• Perform proper animal handling and restraint
• Assist with surgical procedures and monitor surgical recovery
• Place IV catheters and draw blood
• Conduct bloodwork and operate laboratory equipment
• Perform X-ray positioning
• Room patients and provide essential client education

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician
• Proficiency in animal handling, restraint, and behavior
• Experience with surgical assistance, anesthesia, and recovery
• Skilled in IV catheter placement and laboratory equipment usage
• Ability to perform X-rays with proper positioning
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
