Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Room patients and provide excellent client service and education
• Assist with surgical procedures and demonstrate knowledge of surgical equipment
• Perform clinical tasks including drawing blood, running bloodwork, and taking x-rays with proper positioning
• Utilize proper animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure patient safety
• Maintain a positive, motivating, and collaborative presence within the team

Requirements

• 2+ years of veterinary experience
• Experience with animal handling and restraint
• Knowledge of industry tools and medical equipment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A passion for working with animals and their owners

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification
