Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Room patients and provide compassionate care to animals and clients
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide surgical support
• Perform clinical tasks including IV catheter placement, drawing blood, and running bloodwork
• Execute x-rays with proper patient positioning
• Educate clients on pet health and wellness
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and collaborative team environment

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in the veterinary industry
• Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques
• Knowledge of basic veterinary industry tools and equipment
• Experience with surgical assistance, IV catheter placement, and bloodwork
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A motivated attitude toward learning new skills and professional growth
