About the role
Responsibilities
- Proactively pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, targeted emails, social selling, and in-person visits
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-potential leads using tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and ZoomInfo
- Deliver compelling, value-based product demonstrations tailored to veterinary practice pain points
- Meet or exceed aggressive individual quotas for outbound activity, lead conversion, and opportunity creation
- Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene to ensure accurate tracking of all prospect interactions
- Travel up to 75% to meet prospects face-to-face and attend industry trade shows and conferences
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Operations to align on go-to-market initiatives
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development
- Proven track record in sales hunting, prospecting, and exceeding pipeline targets
- Proficiency with modern sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, or ZoomInfo
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging veterinary professionals
- Strong resilience and a relentless hunter mentality
- Ability to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory (MD, DE, and PA)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in veterinary, healthcare, or life sciences industries
- Background in SaaS sales or solution selling
- Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments
