About the role

Responsibilities

  • Proactively pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, targeted emails, social selling, and in-person visits
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-potential leads using tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and ZoomInfo
  • Deliver compelling, value-based product demonstrations tailored to veterinary practice pain points
  • Meet or exceed aggressive individual quotas for outbound activity, lead conversion, and opportunity creation
  • Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene to ensure accurate tracking of all prospect interactions
  • Travel up to 75% to meet prospects face-to-face and attend industry trade shows and conferences
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Operations to align on go-to-market initiatives

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development
  • Proven track record in sales hunting, prospecting, and exceeding pipeline targets
  • Proficiency with modern sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, or ZoomInfo
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging veterinary professionals
  • Strong resilience and a relentless hunter mentality
  • Ability to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory (MD, DE, and PA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in veterinary, healthcare, or life sciences industries
  • Background in SaaS sales or solution selling
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments
