Veterinary Receptionist

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome clients and patients while maintaining the visual appeal of the reception area
• Answer phone calls and emails, triage client concerns, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members
• Schedule appointments to maximize hospital efficiency and daily workflow
• Manage client check-in and check-out processes, including payment processing
• Provide compassionate and discreet emotional support to clients during difficult medical outcomes

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, calm demeanor
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to work in an environment with unpleasant odors, noises, and potential exposure to animal waste or scratches

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of veterinary experience
