About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet clients in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
- Manage a multi-line phone system and direct calls accordingly
- Schedule and confirm appointments and check-in patients
- Obtain medical information from referring veterinarians
- Process payments, deposits, and credit applications
- Maintain an organized and neat lobby and reception area
- Scan medical records and distribute daily schedules
- Handle client admissions and check-outs
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-year of experience in a reception role
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in the pet care industry
