Veterinary Oncology Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage referred oncology cases including diagnosis, staging, treatment, and post-therapeutic follow-up
• Perform and interpret complementary exams such as imaging, cytology, histopathology, and biochemical/hematological profiles
• Define and implement therapeutic protocols including chemotherapy, surgery, supportive care, and palliative care
• Participate in multidisciplinary consultation meetings and contribute to the medical team's skill development
• Support pet owners in understanding diagnoses, therapeutic options, and follow-up with empathy and pedagogy
• Supervise and train junior veterinarians and veterinary assistants on oncology protocols and referral best practices
• Contribute to the development of the oncology department and the structuring of the future veterinary hospital center

Requirements

• Degree in veterinary medicine and authorized to practice in France
• Degree or ECVIM/ACVIM Oncology board eligibility
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Fluency in French (oral and written) for consultations and reports
