Veterinary Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Administer medications and provide comprehensive post-operative care
• Run diagnostic tests and support the implementation of treatment plans
• Provide high-quality care for hospitalised patients
• Educate pet owners regarding animal health, nutrition, and disease prevention
• Support clients through difficult and emotional moments with empathy
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure a clean, organised clinic environment
• Keep surgical areas and medical equipment hygienic and ready for use

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)
• 2+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experience
• Strong understanding of veterinary nursing procedures and best practices
• Confident communication skills and strong organisational abilities
• A calm, professional, and compassionate approach to patient and client care
