Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage complex internal medicine cases across gastrointestinal, endocrine, immune-mediated, infectious, respiratory, and hematologic conditions
• Perform and interpret advanced diagnostics
• Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate clearly with clients
• Collaborate with emergency clinicians, referring veterinarians, and hospital teams
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for veterinarians and support staff

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
• Board-certified DACVIM or residency-trained in internal medicine
• Active California veterinary license or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication skills
• Collaborative approach to medicine
