About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage complex internal medicine cases across gastrointestinal, endocrine, immune-mediated, infectious, respiratory, and hematologic conditions
- Perform and interpret advanced diagnostics
- Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate clearly with clients
- Collaborate with emergency clinicians, referring veterinarians, and hospital teams
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for veterinarians and support staff
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Board-certified DACVIM or residency-trained in internal medicine
- Active California veterinary license or ability to obtain one
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative approach to medicine
