Responsibilities

• Lead the Emergency & Critical Care veterinary nursing team in a 24/7 environment
• Maintain operational oversight of ER/ICU processes, including invoicing accuracy and staff training
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily workflows to ensure appropriate coverage
• Perform performance management including evaluations, coaching, and accountability measures
• Work 50% on the floor and 50% in an administrative capacity
• Foster a culture aligned with the hospital’s mission and commitment to exceptional care

Requirements

• Strong clinical foundation as a Veterinary Technician within Emergency Medicine
• Proven leadership or management experience
• Ability to build trusting relationships and communicate clearly in stressful situations
• Strong interpersonal skills to guide, coach, and motivate a team
• Flexible availability to support a 24/7 hospital
