Veterinary Client

Responsibilities

• Act as a simulated animal owner to help veterinary students practice interviewing and diagnostic skills
• Portray specific animal owner personas, including history of current problems and emotional behaviors, in a standardized manner
• Prepare and study for assigned roles and scenarios through training and rehearsal
• Complete checklists and evaluations of veterinary student performance accurately and consistently
• Maintain professionalism, objectivity, and confidentiality when interacting with learners, faculty, and staff
• Demonstrate flexibility and reliability regarding schedules and assignments

Requirements

• No degree required
• Ability to portray specific animal owner personas and emotions
• Reliability with schedules and assignments
• Ability to follow detailed training and rehearsal instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous acting experience is preferred but not required
