Veterinary Client

Responsibilities

• Act as a simulated animal owner to help train veterinary students through realistic case scenarios
• Portray specific animal owner personas, including history of current problems and specific emotional behaviors
• Prepare and study for assigned roles to ensure accurate and consistent simulations
• Demonstrate interviewing skills and interact professionally with veterinary students, faculty, and staff
• Complete checklists and evaluations of veterinary student performance accurately
• Maintain objectivity, confidentiality, and professional standards during all simulations
• Accept ongoing feedback from supervisors to improve case simulation quality

Requirements

• Ability to portray specific animal owner personas and emotions
• Reliability and flexibility with schedules and assignments
• Ability to follow detailed training and rehearsal instructions
• No degree is required for this position

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous acting experience is preferred but not required
