High school diploma or equivalent, Experience handling dogs and cats, Ability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 2PM-12AM, Ability to work 2 holiday shifts annually

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care to patients, including feeding, exercising, and grooming
  • Greet patients and owners, taking weights and vital signs upon arrival
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient restraint and medication administration
  • Perform laboratory tests, take radiographs, and maintain hospital equipment
  • Maintain hospital cleanliness by cleaning equipment, kennels, and facilities
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Communicate positively with clients regarding their pets' care

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience handling dogs and cats (in a kennel, boarding, grooming, or veterinary setting)
  • Ability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2PM to 12AM
  • Ability to work 2 holiday shifts annually

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine
  • Proven ability to restrain cats and dogs effectively
