Veterinary Assistant - Anesthesia

Responsibilities

• Perform fear free restraint of canines and felines for IV catheter placement
• Assist with anesthesia induction
• Shave and prep patients for a variety of surgeries
• Set up operating rooms (ORs)
• Clean and restock medical supplies and surgical areas
• Work closely with specialty anesthesia and surgery teams in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in veterinary medicine preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn and grow
