Vessel Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical support during tender and project execution phases for offshore installations.
• Review engineering documentation and suggest improvements to support planning and execution.
• Assist onshore and offshore teams with installation, diving, pre-commissioning, trenching, and hook-up operations.
• Coordinate equipment, material logistics, and cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness.
• Supervise vessel mobilization/demobilization, loadouts, and critical offshore activities.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC, HSE, and engineering standards through risk assessments and safety briefings.
• Lead and manage a team of junior engineers and draftsmen to ensure timely preparation of installation documents.
• Provide technical input to the commercial team for proposals and contractual matters.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or a related engineering discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in Offshore Oil and Gas or EPC environments.
• Strong technical expertise in offshore oil and gas installations, including jackets, topsides, bridges, and heavy lifting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project.
• Professional proficiency in English.
