About the role
Responsibilities
- Protect people, assets, and operations within a busy shipbuilding and defence environment
- Monitor hot work activities and support safe working practices across the site
- Carry out fire safety checks and identify potential hazards
- Work closely with a variety of trades and teams to maintain a safe working environment
- Operate within vessels, confined spaces, and other challenging operational areas
- Support the delivery of fire safety standards across a nationally significant defence programme
Requirements
- British Citizen or held a British Passport for a minimum of 5 years
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
- 5 year checkable work history
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions including heat, confined spaces, and at height
- Commitment to following procedures and maintaining high safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in fire safety, emergency response, military, industrial, or security environments
