Verification & Validation System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and implement verification and validation methods across remote operation centers, HIL labs, and on-road testing
• Develop and maintain test plans and procedures for core remote assistance features
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope and implement new operational functions
• Analyze remote assistance features and test evidence to improve safety case arguments
• Expand the remote assistance test suite to address edge cases and coverage gaps
• Analyze test results to identify unexpected behaviors, regressions, or failures
• Build tools to automate test execution, data extraction, and results reporting
• Support hardware and software releases through V&V test campaigns

Requirements

• Must be a US person (permanent resident or US citizen)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, MechE/EE, System Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field
• Strong experience in verification and validation, systems integration, or autonomy testing
• Ability to travel to test/customer sites up to ~25%
• Strong hands-on testing experience in test facilities or unstructured environments
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python or C++
• Experience with human-in-the-loop remote assistance tools
• Experience with requirements and test management tools like JAMA
• Experience with the Systems Engineering V-Model
• Knowledge of safety critical standards such as ISO 26262, SOTIF, or UL4600
