Verification & Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Identify inefficiencies and friction within V&V workflows to support process transformation initiatives
• Analyze how V&V interacts with upstream and downstream activities to ensure alignment across requirements, design, and testing
• Use data to assess the effectiveness of tools, automation, and workflows
• Apply AI tools within V&V workflows to improve reliability, transparency, and output usefulness
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive the adoption of improved engineering approaches
• Prepare and maintain V&V records and supporting materials in compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science
• 3–5 years of experience in Verification & Validation, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline within a regulated industry
• Practical exposure to AI applications in engineering workflows, such as predictive analytics or workflow automation
• Familiarity with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Jama, or Jira
• Proficiency in data science environments including Python, MATLAB, or Jupyter
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device industry or other highly regulated sectors
• Experience applying AI in regulatory or quality contexts, such as automated reporting or AI-assisted test coverage
