About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification and validation plans (V&V) to confirm product performance against design specifications
- Design test procedures, test fixtures, and validation protocols for mechanical systems and assemblies
- Perform functional, environmental, reliability, and performance testing, then analyze results to generate technical reports
- Ensure traceability between design requirements, test plans, and verification results
- Provide technical expertise on mechanical systems, components, materials, and assemblies
- Support product development through design reviews, risk assessments, and failure analysis
- Evaluate mechanical performance including load conditions, fatigue, vibration, and thermal behavior
- Participate in root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement activities
- Maintain documentation including test protocols, verification matrices, and validation reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in validation, verification, product testing, or quality engineering
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and assemblies
- Experience developing and executing test plans, protocols, and validation reports
- Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques such as 5 Whys or Fishbone diagrams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills
