Verification & Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification and validation plans (V&V) to confirm product performance against design specifications
• Design test procedures, test fixtures, and validation protocols for mechanical systems and assemblies
• Perform functional, environmental, reliability, and performance testing, then analyze results to generate technical reports
• Ensure traceability between design requirements, test plans, and verification results
• Provide technical expertise on mechanical systems, components, materials, and assemblies
• Support product development through design reviews, risk assessments, and failure analysis
• Evaluate mechanical performance including load conditions, fatigue, vibration, and thermal behavior
• Participate in root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement activities
• Maintain documentation including test protocols, verification matrices, and validation reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in validation, verification, product testing, or quality engineering
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and assemblies
• Experience developing and executing test plans, protocols, and validation reports
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques such as 5 Whys or Fishbone diagrams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills
