Verification and Validation Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers responsible for the validation of autonomy modules
• Drive the development and execution of comprehensive validation strategies and test plans, including simulation and real-world testing
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of sophisticated metrics mapped to safety cases to ensure alignment with industry standards
• Architect solutions for performance analysis and challenging event identification
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering leaders and industry partners to define roadmaps for validation features
• Lead recruiting efforts to grow the validation team with top talent

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in ADAS, autonomous driving, or a related technical field
• MS/BS degree in Robotics, Aerospace, Computer Science, or an equivalent field
• Technical leadership experience with teams on autonomy system validation projects
• Deep knowledge of ADAS/AV system architecture and standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 21448, or UL4600
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and industry partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior technical leadership and management in autonomous vehicle, ADAS, or aerospace programs
• Project management experience in AV or robotics fields
• Experience with safety engineering and requirements management
• Familiarity with simulation and scripting tools in autonomy systems
• PhD in engineering, robotics, or a related technical field
