Venue Technology Manager

LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We are on a singular mission to create an Olympic and Paralympic Games that celebrate all this city and country have to offer, delivering an unparalleled experience for athletes, fans, partners and our community.

Responsibilities

• Integrate with Venue Management Teams to understand operations and deliver fit-for-purpose technology solutions
• Develop detailed venue design plans and delivery schedules for Test Events and Games-time
• Identify risks and dependencies while developing mitigation and contingency plans
• Build and manage a diverse team of paid staff, contractors, and volunteers
• Lead all aspects of technology services installation, testing, handover, and decommissioning
• Act as the primary point of contact for resolving technology issues at assigned venues
• Manage and track deployed technology assets
• Oversee the mobilization and welfare of the technology team on-site

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing technology projects or similar roles
• Proven ability to lead rapid deployment of resources and infrastructure under strict time constraints
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple complex tasks simultaneously
• Experience in sports, major event industry, or stadium operations is highly welcome
• Proficiency in English is required

Preferred Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Multilingual capabilities
