Venue Technical Director

Responsibilities

• Lead technical operations for campus performance spaces, including Henderson Auditorium, Merritt Theatre, and Daniel Recital Hall
• Coordinate technical and event services for academic programs, chapel, convocations, commencement, and community rentals
• Lead, train, and schedule student technical staff
• Oversee audio, lighting, video, and staging for all scheduled events
• Maintain equipment, venues, and technical inventory to the highest standards
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external clients to ensure seamless event execution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Strong background in live event production and stage management
• Proficiency with audio, lighting, and projection systems
• Experience with digital audio consoles such as Midas, Behringer M32, or PreSonus
• Proven leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
