Venue Sustainability Crew Member

Responsibilities

• Assist in the mid and post-show waste sorting process for recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials
• Support the Venue Sustainability Manager in educating fans and venue staff on sustainability practices
• Maintain a clean sorting area and assist with post-show cleanups
• Work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends, to ensure all waste is properly diverted
• Participate in required onboarding and training sessions

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly
• Physical stamina for walking, bending, reaching, and stooping for extended periods
• Availability to work late-night shifts (typically starting around 9:00 pm and ending between 1:00 am and 2:00 am)
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
• Comfort working in environments that may involve dirt or unpleasant odors
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
• Knowledge of recycling and composting processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working at events or zero-waste events
