Venue Parking Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage overall parking department operations to ensure safe and efficient transportation for guests, employees, and artists
• Lead traffic control efforts at the beginning and end of event days and assist with creating traffic flow plans
• Conduct weekly lot inspections to monitor safety, cleanliness, and space usage, taking corrective action when necessary
• Oversee shuttle, rideshare, and bus drop-off areas to ensure proper flow and guest safety
• Monitor ADA parking areas to ensure proper usage and assist guests requiring accessible parking
• Interview, select, train, and supervise department staff, including scheduling and conducting meetings
• Manage parking equipment and inventory, such as radios and safety vests
• Coordinate with security, law enforcement, and emergency services during events
• Resolve parking complaints and disputes while interacting positively with guests
• Participate in venue sustainability programs, including waste sorting and recycling efforts

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in a comparable role
• Previous experience working in the parking industry
• Proven experience leading and supervising a team
• Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to walk, climb stairs, and lift/carry 50 lbs.+ regularly

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Guest Services and communications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute new programs or initiatives
