Venue IT Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT troubleshooting assistance to venue administrative, operations, and production staff.
• Act as an on-site liaison with remote IT support teams to resolve persistent technology issues.
• Support tour production by establishing artist internet connectivity and fulfilling IT riders.
• Perform proactive "day of show" support for point of sale (POS) and access control technologies.
• Manage deployment, inventory, and maintenance of on-site IT equipment and POS terminals.
• Maintain digital menu boards, wayfinding signs, TV, satellite, and audio systems throughout the venue.
• Assist with seasonal IT preparation, validation, shutdown, and winterization processes.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Apple iOS and MS Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of network technologies.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours for events and summer festivals.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in IT service delivery or technical support.
• Experience working in a live entertainment or large-scale venue environment.
