Venue Box Office Agent

Responsibilities

• Manage ticket sales and ensure compliance with cash handling policies and procedures
• Balance and reconcile daily and nightly ticket sales
• Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service to guests
• Facilitate Will Call and Guest List operations during shows
• Troubleshoot night-of-show issues including transfers, barcodes, and account discrepancies
• Coordinate with Guest Services regarding ADA requirements and ticket laws
• Perform daily operations using the Ticketmaster host system
• Follow all opening and closing shift procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Proven knowledge of cash handling
• Experience in in-person customer service
• Entry-level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Point of Sale systems
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in ticketing or live entertainment operations
• Experience using the Ticketmaster host system
• Ability to identify counterfeit cash or identification
• Strong attention to detail in a multi-tasked environment
• Working knowledge of Windows-based PC programs
