Venture Manager, Creative Destruction Lab

Responsibilities

• Support CDL-Toronto operations with a focus on venture recruitment and portfolio management
• Foster stakeholder engagement and maintain relationships with project partners
• Promote program offerings to internal and external contacts
• Evaluate venture applications for committee selection
• Monitor key performance indicators and analyze statistical information to evaluate program performance
• Implement process improvements for project activities and program growth

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or a technology background
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in venture management, business development, or stakeholder relations
• Strong analytical ability with an understanding of startup business models
• Proven project management experience and high level of organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively with high-performing teams and multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or BComm degree (completed or in progress)
• Experience working directly with startups, technology companies, or venture capital firms
• Proficiency in financial modeling, market analysis, and strategic planning
