Venture Capital Analyst

DRW Venture Capital is a private investor in financial and enterprise technology. We are a stage-agnostic venture capital and growth equity investor focused on companies operating within the fintech and capital markets space.

Responsibilities

• Manage pipeline of inbound leads and generate outbound opportunities through research and networking
• Prepare and present investment memos and pitch decks for new and follow-on investments
• Prepare valuations for current and pipeline opportunities including DCF and comparables
• Assist with deal structuring and the evaluation of term sheets
• Support portfolio company management teams with corporate strategy and M&A evaluation
• Monitor current investments via regular valuations and cap table analysis
• Conduct industry research to stay abreast of trends

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in Venture Capital, Growth Equity, or Private Equity
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with valuation modeling (LBOs, DCF, cap tables)
• Strong quantitative and qualitative evaluation skills
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, or Corporate Strategy
• Interest in fintech, cryptocurrency, and trading platforms
