Vendor Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external vendor audits to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards
• Implement and maintain vendor audit systems to support Six Sigma-level quality performance
• Lead vendor performance reviews covering quality, service, and delivery
• Perform material line studies, testing, and validation for new and existing products
• Manage test orders and verify accuracy of incoming raw materials and vendor invoices
• Execute quality audits for in-process and finished goods and drive corrective actions
• Analyze data and generate actionable reports to support decision-making
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising to ensure successful change implementation
• Support ISO 9001 audits and maintain compliance with quality standards
• Serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment
• Experience with GMP, ISO 9001, or ISO 14001 strongly preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in basic statistics and computer applications
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
