About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own category strategy and manage vendor partnerships
  • Manage category financials, pricing, promotion, and P&L for multiple brands
  • Drive revenue and margin improvement through strategic vendor business plans
  • Negotiate terms, cost structures, and selection to maximize growth
  • Conduct regular engagements and monthly in-person meetings with brands
  • Perform weekly and monthly reviews of customer input metrics and demand coverage
  • Address vendor experience issues regarding data access, payments, and reporting
  • Plan and execute events and promotions with brand support

Requirements

  • MBA from a Top 20 Business School
  • Experience in quantitative/financial analysis, retail buying, planning, or e-commerce
  • Proficiency in Excel with strong analytical and numeracy skills
  • Proven negotiation and vendor management experience
  • Experience leading teams and cross-functional projects
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
