Vehicle Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare motorcycles to the required quality standards for testing and evaluation
• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across the vehicle fleet
• Perform engine strip-downs, rebuilds, and component inspections
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repair solutions
• Support vehicle quality assessments and inspections
• Maintain accurate service, repair, and inspection records
• Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and health and safety requirements
• Work closely with the Quality team to continuously improve vehicle reliability and performance
• Maintain workshop equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a motorcycle mechanic or vehicle technician
• Strong engine build and engine rebuild experience
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience carrying out servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Good understanding of workshop health and safety practices
• NVQ in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent recognized qualification
