Vehicle Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble cable harnesses, fabricate mounts, integrate off-the-shelf (OTS) components, and perform tests on integrated systems
• Work with schematics, diagrams, and written or verbal descriptions to complete assembly, fabrication, and integration tasks
• Maintain and improve the reliability of current vehicle autonomy systems, including electrical and mechanical aspects of sensing and actuation platforms
• Collaborate with the Autonomy Engineering team to support calibration and integration of perception, planning, navigation, and control systems
• Assist with workshop management, including tool maintenance and consumable stocking
• Travel up to 50% as required

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience integrating both mechanical and electrical systems
• Familiarity with manufacturing, testing, or diagnostic equipment (drill presses, miter saws, digital voltmeters)
• Experience with power electronics, including industrial batteries and DC-DC/DC-AC converters
• Prior experience supporting autonomy for production ground vehicle subsystems or research prototypes
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
