About the role
Responsibilities
- Support real-world autonomous vehicle testing operations across Japan
- Safely monitor autonomous driving systems during on-road testing and intervene whenever required
- Provide structured operational feedback to engineers and research teams to help improve AI driving performance
- Support data collection and validation activities for AI system training
- Maintain high operational and safety standards while reporting vehicle or safety issues
Requirements
- Full clean Japanese driving licence held for a minimum of 5 years
- Strong driving experience in Japan, including complex urban environments
- No blameworthy insurance claims in the past three years
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Ability to use smartphones, tablets, and basic troubleshooting for mobile apps
- Ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Willingness to undergo health checks and ongoing drug/alcohol testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced driving background (ADI, Emergency Response Advanced Driver, or similar)
- Strong familiarity with driving across both urban and highway environments in Japan
