About the role
Responsibilities
- Painting and prepping of motor vehicles of all types
- Ensure customer satisfaction in the repair and painting process
- Carry out work in a safe and economical manner
- Observe, recognise and report on vehicle structure and paintwork
- Interpret and implement technical instruction data
- Accurately use paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment
- Ensure vehicles comply with safety standards or report faults on job cards
- Attain manufacturers' and/or estimated repair/paint times
- Report all faults and defects noticed while working on vehicles
Requirements
- ATA / NVQ level 3
- Relevant industry experience as a repair technician
- Good communication skills
- Decision making and problem solving skills
- Health and Safety knowledge and awareness
- Strong time management skills
