Vehicle Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Safely operate test vehicles for up to 8 hours a day to evaluate and improve autonomous driving systems
• Provide detailed feedback on technology performance and priorities to engineers and managers
• Make exceptional judgment calls regarding vehicle operation and safety
• Act as a company representative to self-driving enthusiasts and onlookers
• Support general operations including vehicle washing, garage maintenance, and assisting with logistics during business trips

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as an AV (Autonomous Vehicle) Safety Officer
• Fluency in both English and Spanish
• Valid U.S. driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to travel overseas more than 25% of the time (specifically to the Middle East and Europe) to train new safety drivers
• A strong, safety-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of success working within a team environment
• Passion for vehicles or hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance
• Expertise in vehicle technology
• Proficiency in additional languages
