Vehicle Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of mechanical systems, safety features, and overall vehicle condition to ensure reliability and roadworthiness.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across engines, transmissions, suspension, braking, and electrical components using structured troubleshooting.
• Perform timely repairs and replacements on tires, brakes, bearings, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, and HVAC systems.
• Execute preventative maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and precise lubrication.
• Test vehicle systems post-repair to guarantee functionality and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Manage accurate service logs, repair records, and inspection documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace while adhering to strict safety protocols and proper hazardous material handling.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial vehicle maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, suspensions, and braking systems.
• ASE certifications or equivalent technical expertise.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with management and drivers.
• Ability to manage multiple work orders and prioritize preventative maintenance tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
