About the role
Responsibilities
- Install fluids, avionics, and other components onto launch vehicles
- Troubleshoot and complete functional tests of integrated launch vehicles
- Use tools and equipment to build, launch, or test components
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet production schedules
- Perform high-precision assembly tasks including crimping, soldering, and harness termination
- Conduct inspections to ensure workmanship standards
- Maintain 5S work center standards
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience in assembly and testing of fluids, avionics, or vehicle components
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts (8+ hours)
- Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Maintenance skills including precision cleaning and disassembly/assembly
- Ability to read and build assembly drawings
- Experience with forklifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, or scissor lifts
- Proficiency with power tools and torque wrenches
- Computer literacy with smartphones and tablets
